When you commission a song from your chosen artist, that artist has 24 hours to accept your commission for delivery within 14 days. We cannot guarantee the availability of every artist on our website, as some may be touring or recording their own albums or otherwise engaged with their creative endeavours. However, we do keep this list current and artists are encouraged not to turn any commissions down without a good reason. Any who let our customers down repeatedly will be removed from the website.
If your chosen artist isn’t available, we will get in contact with you immediately to suggest similar alternative artists.
Your track will be delivered to your chosen email address within 14 days of your order being placed. Occasionally there may be an unexpected delay on your track being written, such as your chosen artist being taken ill. If this occurs we will contact you to discuss further, and may offer a refund at our discretion if the track was needed by a certain date.
SONGS/TRACKS ARE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. Commissioning a song does not give you any commercial rights or otherwise over the final song. The artist retains ALL rights, and may use the song in any way they see fit in the future, including making minor changes to it (replication). No songs commissioned through Your Tune can be used for any commercial purposes without express permission from the artist. If you wish to seek approval for any use other than Personal Use please get in contact with us and we will pass your request to the artist. They are under no obligation to respond.
Returns
Distance Selling Regulations exclude personalised goods so we cannot accept returns. Each finished track is checked by us to ensure it meets the song brief and that the quality is acceptable. Please be aware that these songs will not be recorded to full professional studio quality, but we do expect sounds levels to be correct and for the vocals to be clear. We also ensure that each element of your brief has been met.
In the event that you are unhappy with your finished track we will work with you to discuss your options. However if the artist has fulfilled the brief correctly, that it is similar in style to their usual work (which you will have been able to check when you commissioned your song) and the quality is acceptable it is unlikely that we will ask the artist to do further work, and unfortunately we cannot offer a refund if you decide you just don’t like the track.
